We are passionate about personal privacy. Much though we love the Internet we are very unhappy indeed about the lack of privacy and the way that so many companies out there deliberately get as much personal information out of their visitors as they possibly can. We are not one of those companies.
The main law in the United Kingdom and Europe which covers data protection is the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which regulates the way in which data is collected, what use it is put to, how it is protected, and how it is processed. We will cover each of those items as follows:
How we collect data about you
Simply; we don't. Our website is designed for entertainment and not to extract money from anyone so we have no interest whatsoever in gathering any names, addresses, credit card details, or other personal information about our visitors. We do have access to web stats, which give us information about the number of visitors to this site, the IP addresses they came from and various bits of information about the pages that they looked at, but none of this is personal information which could identify any visitors. We very rarely even look at these anyway.
How we store data
Unless you actually contact us, in which case we will have a record of your query, your e-mail address and any other information you give us, we have no other data to store at all. Copies of enquiries that we receive are kept on an encrypted computer system to which no other persons, apart from the writer of this document, have access to.
What we use your data for
We will reply to any queries that we receive and try to be as helpful as we can. We will not use any information we have to send out spam, or any other sort of marketing material.
